If the above listed cat/kitten is being sold for show/breeder purposes, Purrsianpals makes no guarantee on the success of the purchased feline in the show ring. There are too many variables contributing to success in the show ring for Purrsianpals to make any guarantees of success.

Buyer agrees that this cat/kitten will be used exclusively in his/her breeding program. Should there be a problem with the cat being able to conceive, proof in writing from a licensed veterinarian specifically stating the breeding problem(s) must be submitted to Purrsianpals. Upon review by a our Veterinarian for clarification, and at the discretion of Purrsianpals, the cat/kitten may be replaced with one of equal value.

The buyer agrees that this cat/kitten will not be sold or leased to another cattery or individual without prior consent of Purrsianpals. The buyer also agrees that if this cat/kitten is a male, it will never be used for stud service outside of buyer’s home or cattery. Should the buyer default on these terms, Purrsianpals has the right to demand the cat/kitten and registration papers be returned to them immediately with no refund due to the purchaser.

If the above cat/kitten is being sold as Pet Quality, and the animal has not previously been altered, the buyer agrees to have said Feline altered by the time the Feline reaches one year of age. When written proof of spay/neuter has been submitted to Purrsianpals the blue CFA registration slip will then be issued to the buyer. The registration slip shall also note that the cat/kitten will not be used for breeding purposes.

The seller attests that the above listed cat/kitten is in good health, has been examined by a licensed Veterinarian, and has received no less than 1 set of appropriate shots. The buyer agrees that any and all future vet bills are the sole responsibility of the buyer once the buyer takes possession of the cat/kitten.

Buyer has 5 working days after taking possession of the cat/kitten to have cat/kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian. After 5 working days, no replacement of the cat/kitten will be considered. 

If the cat/kitten is diagnosed with a specific defect, the buyer must provide a report signed by a licensed Veterinarian. For a cat/kitten up to (1) one year of age found to have a genetic or specific defect, Purrsianpals agrees to offer a cat/kitten of equal quality and value when available after they verify the Veterinarian report. Should Purrsianpals no longer be breeding cats, then no replacement or refund will be due the buyer. Infectious and/or contagious diseases are not the responsibility of the seller.

Purrsianpals shall require a 20% non-refundable deposit to hold any cat/kitten it offers for sale. A cat/kitten is not considered “reserved” until Purrsianpals has received a deposit.

Shipping costs are the total responsibility of the buyer and must be paid in full to Purrsianpals before the cat/kitten will be shipped to the buyer. Purrsianpals DOES NOT accept personal checks. We do accept the following terms of payment:

PayPal : Buyer to add 2.9% to the purchase price to cover PayPal fees.

Postal Money Orders

Payments from Overseas will be accepted through the use of PayPal, Western Union, or Over-night International Money Orders only. International buyers must add 2.9% of the purchase price to cover PayPal fees.

As buyer of the above listed cat/kitten, I fully understand all terms of this contract and agree to abide by all terms and/or conditions specified in this contract.

Seller reserves the right to cancel any contract. Should seller cancel the contract for reasons other than violation of terms by the buyer, the deposit shall be returned to the buyer.

This is a legal and binding contract between both named parties. All statements included will be honored by the seller and buyer. If any of the terms/conditions are broken by the buyer, Purrsianpals shall have the right to take possession of the named cat/kitten and registration papers at no charge to them.  Buyer agrees to pay any and all court costs if this contract is litigated, and that any suit shall be tried in the seller's state and under seller's state law (Ohio, Crawford County).
